Since we do not use weedicides, the red rai that we sell grows wild in our fields. It is treated as a weed by other farmers and that’s why they use weedicides to kill the red rai and other long grasses to get better crop yields. When they do grow the red rai specifically as a crop then they use all normal practices of farming like use of fertilizers, presticides and insecticides. We instead gather what grows wild.
